Oliver McCutchen Jr

Pastor Oliver—or Pastor O.—is a creative, a worshipper, and leader with a heart for God and people. He all about serving. He served our country in the USMC and has served the church as a Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, Music Director, and Assistant Pastor. He was elevated to the role of Senior Pastor of New Hope Ministries RVA during the pandemic. Whew, right? As Senior Pastor his heart pasture for service has not changed. He preaches the word with relevance, clarity and fire. He believes the good news, that being lost makes you the perfect candidate to be found, receive salvation, experience love, and live out your purpose through Jesus, our savior. He is head over heels for his wife Kristin McCutchen and is a father & stepfather to 3 amazing boys.

Kristin McCutchen

Kristin would say she’s not a “church girl” and definitely not the traditional hat-wearing first lady. She’s a boy mom/stepmom to 3, a sports fan and loves to have fun. Her actual life is a testament of God’s healing power on multiple levels. She tells the story of praying and telling God that she wanted to be closer to Him, and that’s when Pastor Oliver showed up—Ciara’s not’s the only one, haha. The power of God’s love and grace that fills her life is the same that she wants others to experience for themselves. She’s wants everyone to live their best life with God. That passion is evident in her smile, conversations and bubbly personality.
